DOOM motion controls on Switch see ACC claims spike

Bethesda has announced that the latest patch for DOOM on Nintendo Switch adds motion aiming to the game, raising concerns at ACC for the well being of sedentary gamers around the country.

Players who’ve sunk hours into Nintendo’s flagship switch title Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be familiar with the feel of motion aiming on Switch and the 2018 port of Bethesda’s demon slaying extravaganza looks to offer a similar functionality, though asking players to react in a split second.

An ACC spokesperson called the addition “concerning” and said the company expected claims for soft tissue damage to spike in the coming weeks.

Bethesda has declined to comment.
